Television actress Mahhi Vij has issued a fiery response on social media, directly confronting and condemning the trolls who have been spreading dating rumours about her and her close friend, Nadeem. This comes amid her ongoing separation from husband Jay Bhanushali.

The actress took to her official Instagram handle to share a video statement addressing the malicious speculation head-on. This move followed a wave of brutal trolling she faced after a recent post featuring Nadeem. In the clip, an evidently upset Mahhi did not mince her words.
She revealed that many advised her to ignore the rumours, but she chose to speak out. "Just because we have taken divorce with a lot of respect for each other, I don't think you guys are able to digest it," she stated, pointing a finger at those seeking controversy. "You guys want filth."
Clarifying Nadeem's Role as a Godfather
Mahhi Vij firmly established the nature of her relationship with Nadeem, describing him as her best friend who will always remain so. She provided crucial context to debunk the rumours, highlighting the long-standing and respectful bond they share.
She has been posting about him for six years, and more importantly, her daughter Tara has been calling him "Abba" for the same duration. Mahhi emphasised that this was a joint decision made by both her and Jay Bhanushali. She expressed deep disappointment that the beautiful word 'Abba' had been made to seem "disgusting" by the trolls' narratives.

The actress's message turned into a direct rebuke of the online hate campaign. She questioned the morality of those attacking someone going through a difficult personal phase and warned them about karma.
"You can stoop to any level of filth, shame on you," she said. Mahhi defended Nadeem's character, calling him a godfather not just in her life but in the lives of many who respect him deeply. She challenged the trolls by asking if people don't express love to their best friends or siblings.
Furthermore, she cast doubt on the authenticity of the negative comments, suggesting that half of them came from fake followers. Mahhi ended her powerful statement with a defiant promise: "I will not let you do that. You people are s***. Shame on you."
