Taking to his social media on May 6, the actor posted a video stating that he did not approve of Mr Fantasy using and copying his identity. He said, 'There was recently a music video that was released, and it included a bunch of people who were really close to me, by a guy who's completely and utterly stolen my image and misappropriated my image and my likeness. And I think we all know who I'm talking about.'

Calling him a 'liar' and a 'thief,' he claimed that he has lost out on a huge job because many people think he is a joke due to this. He concluded his message by adding, 'If anyone out there thinks it's okay to take someone's image — literal tattoos — and to use it for their own success is completely wrong.'

Although the actor has claimed on multiple occasions that he is not Mr Fantasy, many fans believe that Mr Fantasy is an alter-ego social media personality created by the 'Riverdale' star.
