In a statement, the organizers expressed their disappointment: "We are deeply disheartened to announce that Ye live in India, scheduled for May 2026 in New Delhi, has been officially cancelled following security advisories and directives issued by the concerned government and law enforcement authorities amid the current high-alert situation in the capital." They added that after months of planning, the safety of attendees and citizens remains the highest priority.
Refunds and Rescheduling
Full refunds will be provided to all ticket holders who purchased through the official ticketing partner, District. The organizers are working with the artist's team to secure a new date and venue, with updates to be shared through official channels.
Earlier, Kanye West had postponed the show to May 2026 due to rising geopolitical tensions. At that time, he assured fans that tickets would remain valid for the rescheduled date. In a social media post, he stated: "Due to the prevailing geopolitical situation and regional tensions, the Ye show in New Delhi will now be rescheduled to May 23, 2026." He emphasized that safety remains the top priority for fans, the artist, and the production team.
