Whenever he visits India, he does so on an e-visa. The report further states that his last Indian passport was issued in Mumbai in 2018, and prior to that, one was issued in Zambia. His wife, Sandeep Kaur, is also a US citizen, and at the time of acquiring American citizenship, Diljit had listed a five-bedroom bungalow in California as his home address. The singer-actor is yet to respond to or address the report publicly.
