In a characteristically lively Instagram update, Cardi B opened up about her post-pregnancy fitness while promoting her upcoming 'Little Miss Drama' tour. "We in Saudi Arabia, baby!" she exclaimed in the post. She reminded fans that the tour is just two months away, urging them to secure their tickets before they sell out in January. "This tour is all I got for y'all!" she declared.
The 'Bodak Yellow' singer cheerfully addressed the frequent question from fans about how she managed to lose the baby weight so swiftly. Her one-word answer, delivered with her signature flair, was "Stress!". This update comes just over a month after she welcomed her baby boy.
Cardi B's Evolving Fitness Journey
This is not the first time Cardi B has been open about her body transformation after childbirth. Her approach to fitness has evolved over the years. In 2022, she revealed plans to undergo a tummy tuck procedure to address extra skin on her waistline.
Discussing her current routine in a November 20 Instagram Story, the 33-year-old star explained she is doing light workouts. "I haven't start rehearsals yet but I'm doing light work outs to not only get my body back in shape but my joints and bones ..I'm 33 honey I'm a ol' lady," she wrote, adding a laughing emoji. A year prior, she shared a more structured regimen that included wearing a waist trainer for an hour daily and spending thirty minutes on the StairMaster.
Her efforts were on full display in a December 9 Instagram post where she showcased her toned stomach in a dark brown faux fur crop top. Interestingly, Cardi B's relationship with her post-baby body has not always been straightforward. In a November 2018 interview with PEOPLE, she admitted to feeling "depressed" after losing too much weight following the birth of her daughter, Kulture, earlier that July.
She confessed, "I've been very depressed because I cannot stop losing weight." At that time, she had tried methods like drinking Teami weight-loss tea to curb her appetite. Upon reaching her goal, however, she realized she did not like looking "too skinny." This reflection highlights the complex and often challenging journey of body image many women face after childbirth.
