The Story Behind 'Kaddoo'
During another emotional conversation on Aap Ki Adalat, Bobby opened up about his childhood and shared a heartwarming story involving a nickname given to him by his father. The actor revealed that Dharmendra affectionately called him "Kaddoo" when he was young. The nickname was inspired by Bobby's chubby cheeks and round face during childhood. Explaining how it all began, Bobby said, "My cheeks were very round and I was a chubby child. We were at a farm where vegetables were being grown, and I saw a large round vegetable and asked my father what it was. He said, 'Kaddoo.' From that day onwards, he started calling me Kaddoo." Bobby added that he always treasured the nickname because it came from his father and carried a great deal of affection.
Growing Up Close to His Parents

One of Bobby's most touching recollections involved waiting for Dharmendra to return home after long days of shooting. At the peak of his career, Dharmendra often worked multiple shifts and would come home very late at night. Despite his demanding schedule, the veteran actor always made his presence felt within the family. Recalling those emotional moments, Bobby said, "I used to wait for my father to come home from shoots. He would often work three or four shifts a day and return very late at night. Whenever I was ill, he would hold me close and fall asleep. The comfort I felt at that moment was something else altogether. I was very lucky."
