Walking along with her mother, Blue Ivy officially made her red carpet debut at the Met Gala this year, following the theme of 'Costume Art'. Accompanied by both her mother and father, Jay-Z, the 14-year-old was all about establishing her brand this time around. She wore a stunning white dress with a shoulderless bodycon bodice and a puffed-up skirt that ended right at her ankles. To add a more dramatic flair to her outfit, Ivy added a caped jacket while also accessorizing with a pair of stylish sunglasses, studded heels, and a simple diamond necklace.

While talking to Vogue at the event, Beyoncé made sure to hype up her daughter and talked about how good she looked. She said, 'I think she looks so incredible.' While many were not expecting Blue Ivy to appear at the Met Gala because of the age limits, there were a few exceptions taken into account. Although the actual rules of the Met Gala state that the event is not appropriate for anyone under the age of 18, exceptions are made when the child is accompanied by their parents. Beyoncé and Blue Ivy were not the only mother-daughter pairing for the night.
