Altamash Faraz has carved a unique place for himself in the entertainment industry with a diverse array of compelling roles that defy easy categorization. His journey from studying law in Delhi to entering the world of pageants and eventually transitioning to television and OTT platforms has been anything but straightforward. It has been a gradual evolution, with each project adding a new layer to his craft and helping him grow as an actor.

The Moment That Changed Everything

Reflecting on his path, Altamash identifies one pivotal moment that altered the trajectory of his life and career. Speaking about the biggest turning point, he shared that winning the title of Mr India played a transformative role. He said, “I would say the biggest turning point in my career growth would be winning the title of Mr India. When I came to the pageants, and I won the title of Mr India, I think that really exposed me to the entire industry.”

From Law to Theatre

Before entering the pageant world, Altamash was practicing law in Delhi while pursuing theatre on the side. He explained, “I was a guy who was a lawyer back in Delhi, and I was doing theatres as a way of personality development and hobby. I had a lot of inclination towards this performing arts and acting field, but I had no clue how to enter and how to just make my way through.”

Mr India as a Bridge

Winning Mr India, according to him, became the bridge between his passion and profession. It opened doors, introduced him to the industry, and helped him connect with the right people. Altamash added, “I think that really paved the way for me because it exposed me to a lot of people. It helped me build a network and brought a lot of opportunities my way. So it was one of the biggest turning points for me.”

Continuing Growth

Since then, he has continued to grow with every project. “After that, project after project, I’ve just been trying to prove myself, my craft. Every project has been a turning point in some way because you keep getting better opportunities and keep improving as an actor,” he concluded.
