The clarification further claimed that 'AK 64' could not commence last December because of issues involving a producer's financial plans and investments linked to the theatrical rights of 'Jana Nayagan.' Sensing that such developments could affect the smooth progress of the project, Ajith reportedly chose to wait until the situation became clearer rather than rush into production.
Racing Schedule and Production Issues Reportedly Delayed the Film
The same source explained that Ajith had already locked his racing commitments well in advance. When the proposed shooting schedule for AK 64 failed to take off as planned, those dates reportedly went unused because of the production-related hurdles.
