Losing Her Father at a Young Age
Speaking about her father's death, Aamna recalled, "I lost my dad when I was just 10 years old. I was very close to him, and I was completely lost after that. I think I was too young to even understand what was happening. I was only being told that my dad was not well and was being taken somewhere." She explained that the sudden loss left her in a state of confusion and grief.
Mother Bedridden for 30 Years
Aamna also revealed that her mother remained bedridden for 30 years. She said, "It took me a very long time to process everything. Before that, I was in a very safe environment. My father was extremely protective. Suddenly losing him, and then seeing my mother bedridden for 30 years, made life very difficult for me." The actress described how the prolonged illness of her mother added to her emotional burden.
Financial Struggles After Father's Death
During the podcast, Aamna spoke about the financial hardships her family faced following her father's demise. According to her, her father had been cheated by several business partners, which pushed the family into a difficult phase. She shared, "My father was also cheated by many of his business partners, which caused my mother to go through a very difficult phase. There was a time when we didn't even have enough money for her surgeries and proper treatment. So my biggest priority became giving my mother a good life and making sure her medical treatment was taken care of properly."
