Aamir Khan Family Appearance at Ek Din Screening Goes Viral

Aamir Khan made a rare public appearance with his family at the special screening of the film Ek Din in Mumbai on April 28, and a candid moment from the evening quickly captured attention online. The movie, starring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi, saw Aamir arriving with his children Ira Khan and Junaid from his first marriage to Reena Dutta, along with his partner Gauri Spratt.

Videos from the event show Ira Khan and her husband Nupur Shikhare warmly greeting Gauri Spratt with a hug, offering a rare glimpse of the family's rapport with her. Meanwhile, Aamir Khan was seen walking hand-in-hand with Gauri, staying close even as they met Junaid and other family members. They continued holding hands while heading into the screening.

Another clip captured the entire family—Junaid, Ira, Nupur, Aamir, and Gauri—posing together for the paparazzi before going inside. Ira and Nupur also took a moment to pose separately, while Aamir and Junaid waited nearby.

Aamir Gets Emotional, Praises Sai Pallavi's Performance

Beyond the warm interactions, the film itself left a strong impression. Aamir was visibly emotional after watching Ek Din at an earlier screening, with the lead actors seen interacting with him. He heaped praise on Sai Pallavi, saying, "Sai has done such an amazing job, you are going to get blown away. For me, Sai is the best actress we have in our country today." Speaking about his son, he added with humor, "Junaid ne bhi thik thak kiya hai. Woh mera beta hai toh kuch bol nahi sakta (Even Junaid did a good job, but he is my son, so I can't say much). In fact, all the cast members have done a great job, and I am very happy for them."
