Shraddha Kapoor Hails 'Dhurandhar' as Phenomenal

Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has heaped immense praise on director Aditya Dhar's latest cinematic offering, the high-octane thriller 'Dhurandhar'. The film, which features an ensemble cast led by Ranveer Singh, has achieved a monumental milestone at the global box office, crossing the coveted ₹500 crore mark in worldwide collections.

Kapoor's Glowing Instagram Tribute

Taking to her Instagram stories, the 38-year-old actor shared her exhilaration after watching the film. Kapoor described her viewing as a 'phenomenal experience' and humorously called out the director for the long wait for the sequel. "Truly terrible of @adityadharcfilms to make a film like 'Dhurandhar'... and then make us wait for 3 months for part 2," she wrote, urging the team to prepone the release of the next installment.

Her enthusiasm was palpable as she added, "Subah shoot nahi hoti toh kasam se abhi hi dobaara dekhne jaati..." (If I didn't have a shoot in the morning, I swear I'd go watch it again right now). She also expressed excitement for the upcoming slate of Hindi cinema, mentioning titles like 'Chhaava' and 'Saiyaara' alongside 'Dhurandhar' for 2025.

Triumph Over Adversity

In her note, Shraddha Kapoor highlighted the film's journey, which was not without its challenges. She pointed out the negative PR and manufactured controversies that surfaced before the film's release, noting that actor Yami Gautam, who is also Aditya Dhar's wife, had to publicly address them.

"From @yamigautam having to call out the rampant negative PR machinery to manufactured controversies, 'Dhurandhar' endured it all and came out shining!" Kapoor asserted. She concluded with a powerful statement on the film's success: "No bad force can pull a good film down. In Audience we Trust."

A Box Office Juggernaut

Released on December 5, 'Dhurandhar' has proven to be a massive commercial success. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, R Madhavan, and Rakesh Bedi alongside Ranveer Singh.

The plot is set against a backdrop of real-world geopolitical and terror events, weaving a narrative around covert intelligence operations. Key historical incidents like the Kandahar plane hijack, the 2001 Parliament Attack, and the 26/11 Mumbai attacks form the canvas for this thrilling saga.

Produced by Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar under B62 Studios in association with Jyoti Deshpande’s Jio Studios, the film's swift ascent past the ₹500 crore mark cements its status as one of the biggest blockbusters of the year, demonstrating that compelling storytelling coupled with powerful performances resonates powerfully with audiences worldwide.
