Released in both Marathi and Hindi, the movie achieved a record-breaking opening at the box office on Friday in the Marathi version, while the Hindi version also posted respectable numbers. As per Sacnilk, the multi-starrer historical drama earned Rs 7.15 crore on its second day (Saturday) across 1,980 shows. This follows an impressive Rs 8 crore opening on Friday, which set a new record for the highest debut collection for a Marathi film. With a strong occupancy rate of 57 percent on day 2, the total collection for the Marathi version now stands at Rs 15.15 crore. The film is now eyeing the Rs 30 crore mark by the end of its opening weekend.

Hindi Version Performance

In addition to the Marathi box office numbers, the Hindi version of 'Raja Shivaji' has also performed well. On day 1, the Hindi version earned Rs 3.35 crore, pushing the total haul to Rs 11.35 crore. On day 2, the movie made Rs 3.40 crore in Hindi, taking the overall tally to Rs 10.55 crore. Notably, there was a slight drop of 7 percent in the Hindi collections. Nevertheless, the combined India net collection for 'Raja Shivaji' after two days of theatrical release stands at Rs 21.90 crore, while the gross collection amounts to Rs 26.06 crore. If the movie continues to earn at the same pace without any further dip, it is likely to reach the Rs 30 crore mark by the end of its opening weekend.
