Despite this wide release, according to a Sacnilk report, the film managed to collect Rs 1.15 crore at the box office on Day 1. Consequently, the total India net collection stands at Rs 1.15 crore, while the total India gross collection is Rs 1.38 crore.
As per the same report, the overall occupancy rate for the film on Day 1 was recorded at 12.22%.
Stiff Competition at the Box Office
'Main Vaapas Aaunga' faced tough competition from 'Bharata Bhhagya Viddhaata' at the box office. Based on collection reports, the Imtiaz Ali-directed movie holds a slight lead over the Kangana Ranaut starrer, which earned Rs 1 crore on Day 1.
