'Main Vaapas Aaunga' Box Office Collection Day 1
The team behind the Imtiaz Ali film engaged in extensive promotions across various platforms. On its opening day, the Diljit-starrer was screened on 2,302 screens nationwide. Despite this wide release, according to a Sacnilk report, the film managed to collect Rs 1.15 crore at the box office on Day 1. Consequently, the total India net collection stands at Rs 1.15 crore, while the total India gross collection is Rs 1.38 crore.
As per the same report, the overall occupancy rate for the film on Day 1 was recorded at 12.22%.
Stiff Competition at the Box Office
'Main Vaapas Aaunga' faced tough competition from 'Bharata Bhhagya Viddhaata' at the box office. Based on collection reports, the Imtiaz Ali-directed movie holds a slight lead over the Kangana Ranaut starrer, which earned Rs 1 crore on Day 1. Additionally, the Diljit Dosanjh film also went head-to-head with Manoj Bajpayee's 'Governor'. It is sharing screens with 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai' and 'He-Man and the Masters of the Universe' as well.
