Dhurandhar Week 7 Collections, Border 2 Competition

Dhurandhar Maintains Box Office Momentum Despite Week 7 Slowdown

The Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna starrer Dhurandhar has successfully completed its seventh week in theaters, demonstrating remarkable staying power in a competitive market. While the film has shown signs of gradual decline as it approaches the end of its theatrical run, it continues to perform impressively, setting new benchmarks along the way.

Week 7 Collections and Record Achievement

According to industry reports, Dhurandhar earned an estimated Rs 1.1 crore net on its 49th day, marking its lowest single-day collection to date. Despite this dip, the film maintained its position above the crucial Rs 1 crore threshold. More significantly, the seventh week brought in a total of Rs 13.9 crore, establishing Dhurandhar as the highest-earning film in its seventh week, surpassing previous record-holder Stree 2 which collected Rs 9.35 crore during the same period.

Weekly Box Office Performance Breakdown

The film's box office journey reveals a pattern of strong initial performance followed by gradual decline:

  • Week 1 Collection: Rs 207.25 crore
  • Week 2 Collection: Rs 253.25 crore
  • Week 3 Collection: Rs 172 crore
  • Week 4 Collection: Rs 106.5 crore
  • Week 5 Collection: Rs 51.25 crore
  • Week 6 Collection: Rs 26.35 crore
  • Week 7 Collection: Rs 13.9 crore

Total Collections and Milestone Pursuit

Dhurandhar has accumulated an impressive Rs 830.5 crore net in domestic collections, with India gross collections reaching approximately Rs 996.3 crore. The film now stands just Rs 4 crore away from crossing the coveted Rs 1000 crore mark, which would position it to overtake KGF: Chapter 2 and claim the third spot among the highest-earning Indian films of all time.

Internationally, the film has performed strongly with overseas collections hitting Rs 294 crore. Combined with domestic earnings, the worldwide total stands at an estimated Rs 1288.9 crore, cementing its status as a global box office success.

New Competition from Border 2

Since its December 5 release, Dhurandhar has successfully navigated competition from multiple films including Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, Avatar: Fire and Ash, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, Ikkis, and The Raja Saab. However, the film now faces its most significant challenge yet with the January 23 release of Border 2, which promises to test Dhurandhar's continued box office dominance.

The coming days will reveal whether Dhurandhar can maintain its momentum against this new competition while pursuing the Rs 1000 crore milestone that would secure its place in Bollywood history.
