Ranveer Singh's action spectacle Dhurandhar is scripting box office history, showing phenomenal staying power well into its fourth week. The film's relentless performance has now propelled it past a major milestone, overtaking the domestic net collections of Prabhas's Kalki 2898 AD.
A Record-Breaking Fourth Week Run
Defying the usual trend of declining collections, Dhurandhar amassed an impressive ₹16.94 crore net in India on its 24th day, which was a Sunday. This strong showing has pushed its total domestic net collection to a staggering ₹684.94 crore. The film's resilience was evident on its fourth Saturday, where it collected approximately ₹20.9 crore, setting the stage for a robust weekend.
On the global stage, the film's achievements are even more monumental. Within a mere 23 days of its release on December 5, Dhurandhar stormed past the ₹1,026 crore mark worldwide. This incredible pace places it within striking distance of Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, which garnered around ₹1,055 crore globally in its entire theatrical run.
Overtaking Giants and Setting 2025 Records
With its current India net total, Dhurandhar has officially surpassed the ₹684.94 crore collection of Prabhas's sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD. The film is also in a close race with the Hindi collections of Pushpa 2: The Rule, which stands at ₹812.14 crore. More importantly, Dhurandhar has firmly established itself as the highest-grossing film of 2025, leaving behind other successful titles like Kantara: Chapter 1 and Chhaava.
Week-by-Week Box Office Journey
The film's journey to the top has been marked by consistent strength and audience approval:
- Week 1: It opened powerfully with ₹28 crore on Day 1, peaked at ₹43 crore on its first Sunday, and wrapped up the week with a solid ₹207.25 crore net.
- Week 2: The film witnessed an upward trend, driven by massive weekends (₹53 crore on Saturday, ₹58 crore on Sunday), ending the week at a domestic total of ₹253.25 crore net.
- Week 3: Momentum continued, especially over the weekend, leading to a third-week total of ₹172 crore.
- Week 4: After a dip to ₹15 crore on Day 22, collections bounced back with an estimated ₹20.50 crore on Day 23, followed by the strong Day 24 figures.
Sustained Audience Demand Across India
The film's success is underpinned by unwavering audience interest. On Day 24, it recorded an overall occupancy of 41.43%. Morning shows began at 26.31%, climbing steadily to a high of 56.54% occupancy during afternoon shows.
Dhurandhar continues to enjoy a massive screen presence nationwide. Delhi NCR leads with 1,073 screenings, followed by Mumbai with 824 shows. Strong demand is also visible in key markets like Ahmedabad (460 shows), Pune (419), Bengaluru (316), Surat (316), and Lucknow (196), proving its pan-India appeal across metros and tier-2 cities.
With such sustained occupancy levels and a wide theatrical footprint, Dhurandhar shows no signs of slowing down and is poised to climb even higher in the all-time box office rankings.
