Border 2 Day 11 Box Office: Lowest Collection, Nears Rs 400 Cr

Sunny Deol's much-anticipated war drama Border 2 has hit a significant slowdown at the box office on its eleventh day, recording its lowest single-day collection since its release. The film, which had shown a promising upward trend during its initial four days, has seen a sharp decline in momentum following the extended Republic Day weekend.

Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 11: Key Figures

On its second Monday, Border 2 managed to earn only Rs 5.75 crore in domestic collections, marking a notable dip in its daily performance. This brings the film's total domestic collection to Rs 301.89 crore, while its worldwide earnings have now reached Rs 380.75 crore. The film is currently eyeing the coveted Rs 400 crore mark globally, but the recent slump in collections has made this milestone appear more challenging.

Theatre Occupancy and Regional Performance

The overall theatre occupancy for Border 2 on day 11 stood at 11.31%, with a breakdown across different show timings:

  • Morning shows: 5.67% occupancy
  • Afternoon shows: 11.94% occupancy
  • Evening shows: 13.40% occupancy
  • Night shows: 14.22% occupancy

Regionally, the Mumbai area hosted 610 shows with an occupancy rate of 11.67%, while the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR) saw 1,205 shows with a slightly higher occupancy of 12.33%. These figures indicate a clear dip in footfall across cinema halls, mirroring the decline in box office numbers.

Efforts to Boost Collections

In response to the dwindling collections, the production house T-Series announced a special promotional offer on Monday. Fans can now purchase tickets for Border 2 for as low as Rs 149 on Tuesday. A statement from the makers emphasized the theatrical experience, stating, "Some stories deserve to be experienced in theatres. Some stories deserve to be honoured and remembered! This Tuesday, watch #Border2 starting at only ₹149. Book your tickets now!"
