Akshay Kumar's horror comedy 'Bhooth Bangla' has been maintaining a steady pace in its weekday box office collections. Now in its second week in theaters, the film is on the verge of surpassing the Rs 200 crore mark globally.

Box Office Collection on Day 13 (Second Wednesday)

Directed by Priyadarshan, 'Bhooth Bangla' earned Rs 84.40 crore in its first week. According to a Sacnilk report, Day 13 witnessed a 25.3 percent drop compared to Day 12, with the film grossing Rs 3.25 crore across 8,823 shows in India. The total India gross collection has now reached Rs 147.88 crore, while the net earnings stand at Rs 124.50 crore.

Now, the film has nearly added another Rs 100 crore to its global gross. On Day 13, the film earned Rs 0.75 crore in overseas markets, bringing its total overseas gross to Rs 51.50 crore. The worldwide gross collection now stands at Rs 199.38 crore, just shy of the Rs 200 crore milestone, which is expected to be achieved by the weekend.

Box Office Competition

While 'Bhooth Bangla' leads at the box office, it faces competition from the Michael Jackson biopic 'Michael' and Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge', directed by Aditya Dhar.

Starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role, the film is directed by Priyadarshan, marking their reunion after nearly 16 years.
