Punjabi Actress Tania Reflects on 2025 as Her Most Challenging Year
The year 2025 brought significant releases in Punjabi cinema and music. Many artists celebrated major career achievements during this period. However, Punjabi actress Tania experienced a very different reality. Despite launching career-defining projects, personal struggles overshadowed her professional success.
A Daughter's Nightmare Unfolds
Tania, who gained fame with her lead role in the Pollywood film Sufna, faced her worst nightmare in 2025. On July 4th, two unidentified assailants entered her father's clinic posing as patients. They shot Dr. Anil Jit Singh Kamboj at close range. Medical staff rushed him to the hospital immediately.
The entire family endured extreme distress during this period. Tania spent six months at her father's bedside while he received treatment. She described this experience as the most difficult time of her life.
"As a daughter, watching my father in the hospital for six straight months was incredibly tough," Tania revealed in an exclusive conversation. "My projects were reaching audiences, but I remained in the hospital with my father."
Career Success Amid Personal Tragedy
Tania's song For a Reason with Karan Aujla became a career-defining moment. The track received widespread appreciation from fans and critics. Other professional projects also released successfully throughout the year.
Yet the actress could not fully experience the joy of these accomplishments. "My work was released, but I was in the hospital with my father," she explained. "I couldn't feel the moment of joy when my projects came out."
Her team managed social media accounts and promotional activities during this challenging period. This support allowed Tania to focus entirely on her father's recovery.
Finding Strength in Adversity
The difficult circumstances ultimately strengthened Tania's character and perspective. She discovered silver linings within the challenging experience.
"Thankfully, my team handled social media," Tania acknowledged. "I would say 2025 was full of learning, good projects, and lots of family values. I feel blessed that people gave so much love."
The Phaphey Kuttniyan actress expressed how the experience brought her closer to spirituality. "As a person, I became stronger. I felt God is very near to us all," she shared.
Embracing a New Approach to Life and Work
Tania is now resetting her approach to both career and personal life. She has adopted a more flexible mindset about future opportunities.
"To be honest, I am resetting myself to default," Tania explained. "I'm looking forward to opportunities that come to me rather than being rigid about what I want. I have left everything on the universe. I will just give my 100% to whatever comes my way."
The actress concluded that 2025, while extremely difficult, ultimately made her more resilient. She gained new appreciation for family, work, and life's unpredictable nature.
