The incident, which has now gone viral across social media platforms, left the artist visibly shaken and forced the abrupt cancellation of the entire event.
Viral Videos Capture Terrifying Stage Invasion
Multiple videos circulating online show Sunanda Sharma performing energetically on stage, dressed in a simple white T-shirt and baggy jeans, entertaining the college audience with her hit songs. The atmosphere suddenly turned alarming when a male fan unexpectedly leaped onto the platform and rushed toward the singer.
In the footage, the individual is seen touching Sunanda Sharma's feet before she screams in apparent terror and quickly retreats from the stage area, cutting her performance short mid-song. The immediate intervention by security personnel and local police led to the fan being apprehended right on the stage itself and removed from the venue.
Police Investigation and Show Cancellation
According to reports from PunjabNewsLine, the Ghaziabad Police promptly took the fan into custody for questioning following the disruptive incident. Preliminary information suggests that the individual involved is actually a student enrolled at the same educational institution where the event was being held, adding a concerning dimension to the security breach.
The shocking encounter left Sunanda Sharma so disturbed that she refused to return to the stage despite repeated pleas from the disappointed audience. Her management team ultimately made the decision to cancel the remainder of the performance entirely, leading to students leaving the venue frustrated and the event concluding on an unpleasant note. As of now, the singer has not released any official statement regarding the traumatic episode at RKGIT.
