Somy Ali recalled a significant moment from 1991 when she visited Dharmendra at his bungalow. "This #tbt I cherish the memory of a man who deemed me to be his daughter from the very first time we shared lassi in his Bungalow in 1991," she wrote. During that visit, they not only enjoyed the traditional drink but also engaged in meaningful conversations. "We laughed and discussed geo-political issues and how we both read our dialogues in Urdu," she added, highlighting the intellectual connection they shared alongside their personal rapport.
