Shruhad Goswami Shares Personal Faith Connection to 'Laalo'

As the Hindi version of 'Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate' gradually wins audience affection, actor Shruhad Goswami has spoken candidly about his personal spiritual beliefs. He reveals how these beliefs intertwine with the film's narrative.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Shruhad stated clearly, "In real life, I am a Krishna devotee. After seeing the miracle that is our film, I am more of a devotee." The actor explained that working on this project actually strengthened his existing faith. He described the entire team's unified vision from the beginning.

God as a Friend in the Film

Shruhad elaborated on their unique approach to depicting divinity in 'Laalo'. The team consciously avoided portraying God in a theatrical or overt manner. "He will come in a way that until He says that I am God, we won't know that He is God," Shruhad explained.

He connected this cinematic choice to everyday human experiences. "Because in our lives, it must have happened that a person comes and helps us in any way and we don't know who that person was. Who knows, he might be God." This perspective shaped their creative decisions.

The actor emphasized this was a collective artistic decision. "So, it was director Ankit Sakhiya's, my and the whole team's call that when God arrives in the film, He will come like a friend. That's why we have shown God in the film in this way."

Karan Joshi Opens Up About Personal Struggles

Fellow actor Karan Joshi also shared heartfelt reflections in a separate conversation. He spoke with remarkable honesty about the challenges he has faced. Karan admitted openly, "Self-doubt hota hai… but giving up is never an option."

He described his professional journey as far from smooth. There were numerous difficult days filled with exhaustion and low spirits. "I used to give up every night. But I have to wake up in the morning and work hard," Karan revealed, highlighting the daily resilience required in his career.

Personal Connections to the Film's Emotions

Karan also discussed how 'Laalo' resonates with authentic human experiences. He believes the emotions portrayed in the film are universally recognizable. "As it is in the film, we have all experienced it somewhere. That's why those emotions have also been portrayed."

The actor shared that these feelings were not foreign to him. "They were hidden somewhere. That is also a blessing," he reflected, suggesting that accessing these emotions for the film felt natural and meaningful.

Both actors' revelations provide deeper insight into the personal dimensions behind 'Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate'. Their candid discussions about faith, doubt, and emotional authenticity offer audiences a richer understanding of the film's creation and themes.
