Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has joined the chorus of praise for the runaway hit espionage thriller 'Dhurandhar', taking to social media to share her enthusiastic review and a special request for the filmmakers.

Kapoor used her Instagram Stories to express her admiration for director Aditya Dhar's film. In her first story, she humorously called out the director, writing, "Truly terrible of @adityadharfilms to make a film like Dhurandhar >>>."

In a follow-up post, she elaborated on her excitement, pleading for the sequel's early release. "and make us wait for 3 months for part 2. Don't play with our emotions. Pre pone the release, please. What a phenomenal experience," she wrote. She added that if she didn't have a morning shoot, she would have gone to watch it again immediately, ending her note with "Chhaava, Saiyaara, Dhurandhar. All in 2025," accompanied by rocket emojis.

'Dhurandhar' Continues Its Box Office Domination

The film, starring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun, has been a massive commercial success since its release. Helmed by Aditya Dhar, the spy thriller has now earned a staggering over Rs 370 crore in the Indian domestic market alone.

On the global stage, the movie's performance is even more impressive, having crossed the Rs 400 crore mark worldwide. Despite early speculation, the director has clarified that the film is not based on the life of army official Major Mohit Sharma.

The makers have officially announced that Part two of 'Dhurandhar' is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026, a date fans like Kapoor are now eagerly hoping gets moved up.
