Sea Link Illuminated for Salman Khan's 60th Birthday Celebration

The city of Mumbai paid a spectacular public tribute to one of its favourite sons, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, on his 60th birthday. The iconic Bandra-Worli Sea Link was brilliantly illuminated on the evening of December 27, casting a celebratory glow over the city's skyline in honour of the actor.

A Dazzling Tribute on the Mumbai Skyline

A massive birthday message lit up the structure, creating a stunning visual spectacle that immediately captured the attention of night commuters and passersby. The unique gesture quickly became the talk of the town, with fans and onlookers rushing to capture photos and videos. These visuals soon flooded various social media platforms, showcasing the city's love for the megastar.

This public display followed more personal birthday festivities held earlier in the day. Salman Khan commenced his celebrations by cutting a cake with members of the media outside his sprawling farmhouse in Panvel. Dressed casually in a T-shirt and blue denim, the actor sported a clean-shaven look that belied his years. Amidst tight security, he smiled for the cameras as the paparazzi sang the birthday song for him.

Star-Studded Celebrations at the Panvel Farmhouse

The actor later hosted an exclusive, high-profile party at the same Panvel venue to mark this milestone birthday. The guest list was a veritable who's who of Bollywood, with family taking centre stage. Salman's parents, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan and Salma Khan, were among the first to arrive. His sister, Arpita Khan Sharma, attended with her husband, actor Aayush Sharma.

The younger generation of the Khan family was also present. Arbaaz Khan's son, Arhaan Khan, arrived alongside Sohail Khan's elder son, Nirvaan Khan. Arbaaz Khan made an appearance with his wife, Sshura Khan, and Alvira Khan Agnihotri also graced the evening with her presence.

The party saw a glittering array of film industry personalities coming to wish the beloved star. The notable attendees included:

  • Bollywood icons like Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Tabu.
  • Actors such as Huma Qureshi, Rakul Preet Singh, and Aditya Roy Kapur.
  • Filmmakers and co-stars including Mahesh Manjrekar, Pulkit Samrat, and Varun Sharma.
  • Producers like Nikhil Dwivedi and composer Sajid Ali.
  • Randeep Hooda, who arrived with his wife, Lin Laishram.

Other faces spotted at the vibrant gathering were Jackky Bhagnani, Anup Soni, Zaheer Iqbal, Sangeeta Bijlani, and Juhi Babbar.

Looking Ahead: Salman Khan's Upcoming Project

On the professional front, Salman Khan is gearing up for a powerful new role. He is set to don the Indian Army uniform in director Apoorva Lakhia's upcoming film, 'Battle of Galwan'. The movie is based on the Galwan Valley clashes at the India-China border in 2020. Actor Chitrangda Singh has been paired opposite him in this significant project.

The dual celebrations—a grand public tribute and an intimate yet starry private party—perfectly encapsulated Salman Khan's unique position in Mumbai and Indian cinema. The illuminated Sea Link stands as a testament to his enduring star power and the city's affection for its 'Bhaijaan'.
