In a surprise announcement that captivated fans and the film industry alike, popular South Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has married director Raj Nidimoru. The wedding took place on Monday morning at the serene Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore, marking a deeply personal and spiritual union for the couple.

A Sacred and Surprising Union

The couple opted for a Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha ceremony, a sacred ritual performed at the abode of Linga Bhairavi Devi within the Isha Yoga Center. This choice highlighted their inclination for a spiritually profound and intimate wedding, away from the typical glitz of celebrity nuptials. Raj Nidimoru is renowned as one-half of the directorial duo Raj & DK, responsible for hit web series like 'The Family Man', 'Farzi', and the Indian installment of 'Citadel'.

The Bride's Timeless Bridal Look

Samantha Ruth Prabhu made a breathtaking bride in a classic red Banarasi saree. The outfit, designed by Arpita Mehta, was a masterpiece of traditional craftsmanship. It featured delicate flower motifs created with intricate gold and beige zardozi work, set against a heavy border. According to the designer's Instagram, the saree was woven over two to three weeks by a single master artisan, incorporating powder-zari buttis, a Nishi-woven border with cutwork, and embellishments like Saadi taar, cutdana, kasab, and tiny mirrors.

Her look was styled by Pallavi Singh and Selvi, who kept it elegantly minimalistic. Samantha complemented the saree with traditional gold jewellery and a fresh gajra tied into a bun. The blouse carried special significance, as stylist Pallavi Singh revealed it was customized with artwork by Bose Jayati. The design featured a Tree of Life adorned with the third eye of the Devi, a protective and symbolic element created within a tight deadline.

The Groom's Understated Elegance

Raj Nidimoru's wedding attire reflected his personality—grounded and warm. Stylist Pallavi Singh described him as "the simplest, most clear-hearted person" and chose a look that was simple, understated, and quietly elegant. His outfit was crafted by the renowned Tarun Tahiliani and his team. Singh chose gold for Raj, calling him "pure gold" or "Thangam" in Tamil, symbolizing his genuine nature.

The actress personally shared the first photos from the wedding, making the announcement directly to her legion of fans, who flooded social media with congratulatory messages for the newlyweds.
