The host confessed that he had considered skipping this week's show entirely, overwhelmed by the personal loss of a man he considered a father figure.

Salman Khan began the show by acknowledging the difficult week that had passed. He stated, "This past week has been very difficult on us — It went on with wishes and prayers, with devotion, and with tears." He went on to describe the profound impact of the loss, saying the country, fans, and the film industry had suffered a massive shock and a huge setback.
He shared the close bond he shared with Dharmendra, who often affectionately referred to him as his own son. Despite his grief, Khan demonstrated professionalism, stating, "I wanted to not host this week's Weekend Ka Vaar, but life goes on."
Double Eviction Shakes the Bigg Boss House
Amid the somber mood, the game continued. During this emotional Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman Khan proceeded with the necessary eliminations. Ashnoor Kaur was evicted from the Bigg Boss house for breaking a fundamental rule. Reports also confirmed that this was a double eviction week, with contestant Shehbaz Badesha also being shown the exit door.
The legendary actor Dharmendra, popularly known as Bollywood's 'He-Man', passed away on November 24 after a prolonged period of hospitalization. Salman Khan was among the many Bollywood celebrities who visited the Deol family at the hospital during Dharmendra's final moments.
Subsequently, the Deol family held a prayer meet titled 'Celebration of Life' on Thursday at Seaside Lawns, Taj Lands End, in Bandra, Mumbai. The event saw a massive gathering of the film fraternity, including stars like Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar, Rekha, Akshay Kumar, Aishwarya Rai, and Abhishek Bachchan, all united in paying their final respects to the iconic actor.
