Ranveer Singh Opens Up About Craving Calm Amid Dhurandhar Frenzy

Actor Ranveer Singh is currently basking in the monumental success of his latest film, Dhurandhar, which has amassed over 1300 crore worldwide since its release. Despite the film's continued box office dominance and its recent OTT debut on January 30, the frenzy shows no signs of abating. Adding to the excitement, the teaser for Dhurandhar 2 has been unveiled, with the sequel set to hit theatres on March 19.

Ranveer Singh Admits Life Can Get "Pretty Crazy"

In a candid interview with Hindustan Times, Ranveer Singh revealed that amidst the whirlwind of success, he often finds himself yearning for moments of peace and tranquility. "My life can get pretty crazy at times and I crave serenity, moments of calm and stillness," the actor confessed. He emphasized the importance of finding silence where he can reconnect with himself, stating, "The kind of silence where I can hear myself again, feel reconnected with my passions and see the stress melt away."

Abu Dhabi: Ranveer's Sanctuary for Serenity

For Ranveer Singh, Abu Dhabi serves as a special escape from the chaos. He described it as a place where he can slow down and find his pace, whether it's through a leisurely walk in the Al Ain Oasis or relaxing poolside at the Saadiyat Beach Club. "It's the place that always lets me find my pace, and that's something I really cherish," he shared, highlighting how these moments help him reset and recharge.

Ranveer's Passion for Travel and Cultural Exploration

Known for his flamboyant personality, Ranveer Singh transforms when he travels, embracing a deep curiosity for people and traditions. "My curiosity and my thirst for knowledge, my appetite for exploration becomes intense," he explained. With a background in Communication and Culture from university, he expressed an insatiable appetite for learning about different cultures. "I think travel humbles you, it makes you realise how vast the world is and how small your bubble can be – a feeling that can be quite liberating," he added.

Ranveer also noted that his travel style varies with his mood; sometimes he meticulously plans every detail, while other times he prefers to go with the flow, allowing spontaneity to guide his adventures.

Dhurandhar 2: High-Profile Release and Promotion Strategy

On the professional front, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is gearing up for a high-profile box office clash with Yash's anticipated film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown Ups. Despite the competition, the sequel's promotion will remain low-key, mirroring the strategy of its predecessor. Varun Gupta, the film's marketer, explained, "Sometimes the best strategy is not to come in the way of something very organic. It will be very foolish of us as a team to try to overdo something that is already doing so well."

The digital rights for Dhurandhar 2 have been sold for a staggering Rs 150 crore to Jio Hotstar, with a premiere scheduled for May 2026. The teaser hints at Ranveer's character, Hamza Mazari, asserting control over Lyari and embarking on a journey to power, while also exploring his life before becoming a spy. The film will release in five languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
