Behind the Scenes: A Glimpse into the Rehearsal
In her latest Instagram Story, Rakul Preet Singh was captured getting ready to practice her dance moves with her choreographer. The video featured a peppy background score, setting the tone for what appears to be a lively and energetic track. While the specific song remains under wraps, the actress added a text overlay that read, "And then we rehearse for a super fun song", accompanied by a heart symbol, hinting at the joyful nature of the number.

Release Date and Production Details
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, "Pati Patni Aur Woh Do" is scheduled to hit theaters on May 15. Initially slated for a Holi release on March 4, the makers decided to postpone the premiere to complete remaining post-production work, ensuring a polished final product for audiences.
This project follows Aziz's 2019 drama "Pati Patni Aur Woh", a modern retelling of the 1978 classic of the same name. The earlier film starred Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday, and revolved around the marital complexities of a couple named Chintu and Vedika, whose lives are disrupted when Chintu becomes infatuated with a young fashion designer, Tapasya.
Historical Context and First Look
The original 1978 version of "Pati Patni Aur Woh" was directed by B. R. Chopra and featured Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha, and Ranjeeta Kaur in lead roles, with notable cameos by Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Tina Munim, and Parveen Babi.
In October of last year, the makers unveiled the first look poster for the sequel, showcasing Ayushmann Khurrana as Prajapati Pandey. The poster suggests that the film will delve into themes of romance, chaos, and the inevitable misunderstandings that arise in marital relationships, staying true to the essence of its predecessors.
As anticipation builds, fans eagerly await more updates on this star-studded sequel, which promises to blend humor, drama, and captivating performances.
