Censor Board Gives Thumbs Up After Minor Tweaks

A Grand and Engaging Cinematic Experience

'The Raja Saab' promises to be a lengthy and captivating watch, with its total runtime locked at approximately 3 hours and 10 minutes (around 190 minutes). The makers have crafted the narrative to keep the audience engaged from start to finish. Notably, the pre-climax and climax sequences together span nearly 45 minutes, ensuring a high-octane finale. The film boasts impressive production values, with grand sets and strong VFX graphics that contribute to its magical and majestic feel.

Story, Cast, and a New Avatar for Prabhas

The film marks a significant genre shift for Prabhas, who is primarily known as an action hero post the 'Baahubali' phenomenon. In 'The Raja Saab', he returns as a romantic and entertaining hero. Prabhas plays Rajasaab, a character from a royal family who, due to financial constraints, lives a simple life with his grandmother, Gangadevi (Gangavva). The story's core revolves around Rajasaab entering their ancient and mysterious ancestral mansion. To reclaim his lost wealth and win over his grandfather, he must navigate the secrets within the house, highlighting the emotional bonds between grandfather-grandson and grandmother-grandson.

The ensemble cast features prominent names including Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar in pivotal roles. Malavika Mohanan portrays the character of Bhairavi, while Riddhi Kumar plays Anita.

Director Maruthi, in an interview with Idlebrain.com, praised Prabhas's performance, stating, "Prabhas Gaaru’s characterization and his acting are truly mesmerizing. It is the main core of the film, something we have seen after a long time, and it will be a new experience for the audience. We have explored a very new point."

The technical crew includes Karthik Palani as the cinematographer, S Thaman as the music composer, and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao as the editor. With censor formalities complete and a confirmed release date, the anticipation for Prabhas's 'The Raja Saab' continues to build among fans and cinephiles alike.
