Pawan Kalyan Hails Chiranjeevi as 'Real Hero' During Film Event

Telugu cinema icon and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan recently shared heartfelt admiration for veteran actor Chiranjeevi, calling him the "real hero." The statement was made during the pre-release event for his upcoming film Ustaad Bhagat Singh, held at the Yousufguda police grounds in Hyderabad, as reported by Eenadu.

Cinema's Role in Shaping Identity and Career

In his speech, Pawan Kalyan emphasized the profound impact of cinema on his life. "I love cinema. Cinema fed me and gave me the identity that allowed me to serve the people," he stated. He expressed gratitude towards the film industry, noting that he always wishes well for directors, writers, and producers, without focusing on box office collections. "I do not see films as Telugu cinema or Tamil cinema. I only see them as Indian cinema," he added, highlighting a pan-Indian perspective.

Kalyan specifically thanked Chiranjeevi for appreciating the trailer of Ustaad Bhagat Singh and sharing it on social media platform X. He also acknowledged actor Ram Charan and director Buchi Babu for their support.

Balancing Political Responsibilities with Film Career

Pawan Kalyan discussed the challenges of managing his dual roles as Deputy Chief Minister and actor. He revealed that Ustaad Bhagat Singh gave him confidence that acting in films is still feasible with proper planning. "After becoming Deputy Chief Minister, I planned carefully so that my duties would not be affected and completed the film in a short time," he explained.

He credited director Harish Shankar for efficient schedule management, enabling the film to be shot in just 40–45 days despite obstacles like COVID-19 and his political entry. "Everyone starts a film with the intention of achieving success. But once the process begins, many obstacles arise. It is very difficult to overcome those challenges and achieve what we aim for," Kalyan noted, emphasizing trust in the director's vision.

Acknowledgments to Music Team and Co-Stars

During the event, Pawan Kalyan praised the music team for their contributions. He highlighted composer Devi Sri Prasad for generating significant buzz around the project and mentioned S. Thaman's work on the background score. "Without music director Devi Sri Prasad, this film would not have received so much craze," he said.

He also commended co-stars Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna, predicting that Sreeleela's role would be special in her career and thanking Khanna for her enthusiasm. Kalyan lauded Harish Shankar's talent, calling him a director who fans would appreciate.

Chiranjeevi's Praise for the Film's Trailer

He wrote, "Magic happened..The moment is set..The trailer is terrific..With Ustaad Bhagat Singh, Ugadi will bring all good things!!" He extended best wishes to Pawan Kalyan, Harish Shankar, and the entire team.
