Bigg Boss 19 Fallout: Neelam Giri Reveals Why Tanya Mittal Unfollowed Her
Neelam Giri Exposes Tanya Mittal Friendship Fallout Post BB19

The curtains may have fallen on Bigg Boss 19, but the drama from the controversial reality show continues to spill into the real world. One of the most talked-about fallouts is the broken friendship between contestants Tanya Mittal and Neelam Giri. Once inseparable inside the Bigg Boss house, the duo have now cut ties, with a public unfollowing saga sparking fresh controversy.

The Unfollowing Shock: A Friendship Ends on Social Media

In a recent candid appearance on Paras Chhabra's podcast, Neelam Giri opened up about the incident that shattered their bond. She revealed that after the show ended and Tanya was evicted, they met at the finale and had a proper conversation. They had even made plans to meet and hang out once outside. However, once Neelam returned home, she heard nothing from Tanya for days.

The situation took a dramatic turn when a friend alerted Neelam that Tanya had unfollowed her on social media. "I was shocked and confused," Neelam shared. "I hadn't even noticed it myself because I was busy; someone else had to tell me. When I checked and saw it was true, I felt really hurt. In anger, I unfollowed her back."

Neelam expressed deep disappointment over Tanya's approach. She felt that as a friend, Tanya should have spoken to her directly about any issue instead of taking a step that was bound to be misunderstood. She reminisced about their time inside the house, where Tanya often confided in her, even advising her to share her thoughts only with her and not with other housemates like Amaal or Shehbaz.

The Awkward Encounter at the Bigg Boss 19 Success Bash

The rift between the two was further evident during the first Bigg Boss 19 success party. Neelam described Tanya's behaviour as indifferent. While Natalia and Neelam were busy dancing, Tanya arrived and started greeting people. Neelam, still hurt by the unfollowing controversy, did not immediately go to hug her.

"She held my hand and asked how I was, and I simply said I was fine," Neelam recounted. "If I were in her place, I would have spoken properly as a friend and asked what went wrong. Instead, she just said hello and moved on." It was only after senior actress Kunickaa stepped in to mediate that the two briefly hugged and took a few pictures together for the cameras.

Dismissing Rumours and Calling Out 'Childish' Behaviour

This photo-op, however, led to rumours that Neelam had asked Tanya for pictures. Neelam vehemently denied these claims. "Why would I do that?" she questioned. "There were already photographers wanting to click our pictures together. And when we weren't on good terms or even talking properly, why would I want photos with her?"

Neelam concluded by expressing her view on the entire episode, calling Tanya's actions petty. "When she unfollowed me, it felt like she ended everything... Unfollowing over such small issues is childish. I feel such minor things were unnecessarily blown out of proportion," she stated, adding in Hindi that it was a very childish act to blow small things out of proportion.

The fallout highlights how relationships forged under the intense pressure of the Bigg Boss house often struggle to survive in the real world, where misunderstandings and social media gestures can permanently sever bonds.
