Mumtaz Reveals Insights Into Daughter Natasha's Marriage With Fardeen Khan
Veteran Bollywood actress Mumtaz has always been known for her candid and forthright opinions, particularly when discussing personal matters concerning her family and relationships. In a series of revealing interviews, she has opened up about the marriage between her daughter, Natasha Madhvani, and actor Fardeen Khan, shedding light on the complexities and challenges they have faced.
Addressing Separation Speculations and Co-Parenting Dynamics
Mumtaz has directly addressed the widespread speculations surrounding Natasha and Fardeen's marital status. In a previous conversation with The Times of India, she clarified that while the couple may be living apart, they are not officially divorced. "They are saying they are separating, but they still aren't divorced. Even if they do divorce, they won't be truly separated because of their kids," Mumtaz stated, emphasizing the enduring connection through their children.
Currently, Natasha resides in London with their children, focusing on their education, while Fardeen remains based in Mumbai. Despite the geographical distance, both parents maintain a strong co-parenting relationship, staying connected for the well-being of their family.
The Impact of Feroz Khan's Passing on Their Relationship
In a more recent interview on 'Sitaron Ka Safar', Mumtaz delved deeper into the potential reasons behind the couple's drifting apart. She suggested that the death of Fardeen's father, the legendary actor and filmmaker Feroz Khan, may have played a significant role in creating distance between Natasha and Fardeen.
"What happened was that when Feroz passed away, he was very attached to his father. So I don't really know what happened at that time. Natasha was shifted to London for the children's education. After that, I'm not sure what misunderstandings arose between them. But that's when some problems began," Mumtaz explained, highlighting the emotional turmoil following the loss.
She added a note of resignation, acknowledging their autonomy as adults: "What else can I say? And what can I even say, they are grown-ups themselves now, and are the parents of the children."
Praising Fardeen Khan's Commitment and Character
Despite the marital challenges, Mumtaz has consistently praised Fardeen Khan for his unwavering dedication to his family. She commended him for his efforts in maintaining a strong paternal presence, even across continents.
"Fardeen is a very good, sweet guy. Even today, he goes to London to see the children. Natasha was unwell, and he went ten times to check on her. I never expected that men these days would do so, but he looked after everything," Mumtaz shared, expressing admiration for his actions.
Her fondness for Fardeen dates back to his birth, as she recalled in a chat with journalist Vickey Lalwani: "Even today, Fardeen seems like a gem to me. He is my favorite. I love him because when he was born, and we were shooting for Feroz's film, I drank the celebratory champagne in his honor. He is such a sweetheart."
Mumtaz's reflections offer a nuanced perspective on modern relationships within the Bollywood sphere, blending personal anecdotes with broader themes of family, loss, and resilience. Her honesty continues to resonate, providing fans with a glimpse into the lives of those in the spotlight.
