Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur, who began her cinematic journey with the Marathi film 'Hello Nandan' in 2014 and entered Hindi cinema with 'Super 30' in 2019, has candidly discussed the challenges she faced in securing roles during her early career. In a recent interview, she emphasized that opportunities did not come easily to her, compelling her to take initiative and actively pursue filmmakers for work.

Creating Opportunities Through Direct Outreach

During a conversation with News18, Mrunal revealed, "Opportunities didn't come to me easily. I had to create them. I had to chase them. I had to make sure that I flash my face in front of the directors, saying, 'Sir, main hoon! Kisi na kisi din cast kar lena please.' I don't shy away from doing these things." This proactive mindset highlights her determination to break into the competitive film industry, where she often had to advocate for herself to gain visibility and roles.

First Director Approached: Aditya Dhar

Reflecting on her initial struggles, Mrunal shared that filmmaker Aditya Dhar, known for directing 'Dhurandhar', was the first person she mustered the courage to approach for an opportunity. She recounted, "In fact, Aditya Dhar was the first director I had approached and asked for work from. When I spoke to him after Dhurandhar, I told him that I'll always remember that day. I didn't know how to ask for work. I didn't know how to communicate." This experience marked a significant step in her career, demonstrating her willingness to overcome hesitation and seek out chances for growth.
