The much-anticipated cinematic extension of the blockbuster crime saga, 'Mirzapur', has officially commenced filming. Titled 'Mirzapur: The Film', the project brings back the iconic characters from the hit series and is currently being shot across the picturesque landscapes of Rajasthan.

Ali Fazal Shares Behind-the-Scenes Glimpse and Gratitude

Actor Ali Fazal, who essays the role of the formidable Guddu Bhaiya, delighted fans by sharing a behind-the-scenes video from the set. In his heartfelt message, Fazal extended his gratitude to the people of Jaisalmer and Jodhpur for their overwhelming warmth and hospitality during the shoot. He expressed, "MIRZAPUR THE FILM. Shooting now. Rajasthan Schedule. Thank you Jaisalmer and Jodhpur for the immense love and hospitality that knows no bounds." He also thanked the local hotels for making the crew feel at home, signing off with a traditional 'Khammaghani'.

Fazal confirmed the return of the beloved ensemble cast, hinting, "You have to meet everyone, the whole paltan is playing." This exciting update points towards the comeback of several fan-favorite characters from the series in this theatrical adaptation.
