Reflecting on the period following the blockbuster success of 'Tezaab' starring Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit revealed she was still residing in Andheri. Her life took a frightening turn when an obsessed fan arrived at her doorstep. A large, elderly man appeared with suitcases, ringing the doorbell. When Madhuri's mother answered, he insisted that the actress had summoned him to "adopt him."
"He wouldn't leave," Madhuri recalled. The situation grew so alarming that her family had to mobilize neighbors for help. They gently tried to explain the reality to the man and eventually managed to put him in a taxi, sending him away.
