Ramakrishnan spoke emotionally about his brother's wishes in an interview with Manorama Online. "Just as my brother wished, his daughter has become a doctor. His biggest desire was that she should become a doctor for the poor. She has completed her MBBS and is now practicing," he said.

We have always kept him in our hearts and moved forward remembering his wishes and thoughts without losing courage," Ramakrishnan stated.
He further added, "There were moments when our minds were shaken, but we controlled ourselves and continued forward just as my brother wanted. We are travelling along the path of his dreams."
