Renowned actor Jaya Ahsan has shared detailed insights about her portrayal of the complex character Dr Sweta Majumdar in the upcoming Bengali film OCD, marking her creative reunion with director Soukarya Ghosal. "There was no reference point in our industry for such a character," Jaya explained, noting that OCD may be the first Bengali film to intertwine these two difficult themes within a single narrative framework. Although filming occurred post-pandemic when OCD discussions became more prevalent, she observed that cinema has maintained relative silence regarding paedophilia.
