We appeal to our Honourable Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis Ji to personally look into the matter, the IFTDA stated, stressing that this grave incident should not undermine the morale and confidence of the entertainment sector. The body also expressed confidence in the Mumbai Police's ability to take swift, strict action to identify and apprehend the culprits while ensuring complete protection for Rohit Shetty and his family.

The incident unfolded in the early hours of Sunday when assailants fired four rounds outside Shetty's residential tower in Mumbai's upscale Juhu area. Following the shooting, heavy police security was immediately deployed around the premises. Police and forensic teams secured the site to conduct a thorough examination. Investigation Progress and Suspect Detentions
In a significant development, Pune City Police officials confirmed that five suspects have been detained in Pune in connection with the case.
