The letter M served as the central focus, accompanied by two leopards that carry significant symbolism. According to Bhanushali, "The leopards represent how they love chasing success, and their shared affection for big cats in general."
A Collaborative Design Process
Interestingly, Mahieka Sharma played an active role in developing the tattoo concept. The couple initially explored nature and earth-inspired motifs, a nod to the meaning of her name—'daughter of earth.' However, they eventually settled on a design that felt more personal and reflective of their relationship.
Bhanushali elaborated on the artistic elements: "The delicate fine line M incorporated in a fine line leopard represents Mahieka, while a realistic leopard represents Hardik. It's important to note that cheetahs and some other cats don't fall into the big cat family, which is why we specifically chose leopards."
A Glimpse into Their Relationship
The tattoo session offered a window into the couple's bond. Bhanushali observed, "Since this was his gift to Mahieka, it was evident how deeply in love they were. They discussed the design together, blushed at little details, and seemed completely lost in their own happy world."

While Mahieka doesn't currently have plans for a tattoo dedicated to Hardik, Bhanushali revealed that she spoke about getting a matching design in the future. "She did not have immediate plans, but she discussed the possibility of a matching tattoo later on," the artist shared. "This design was created with that future possibility in mind—something that even she could get in the coming years."
