Govinda Denies Sunita Ahuja's Allegations, Alleges Conspiracy
Bollywood actor Govinda has issued a strong response to recent accusations made by his wife Sunita Ahuja. Sunita Ahuja publicly claimed that Govinda cheated on her with a younger woman. She also alleged that he failed to support their son Yashvardhan Ahuja in his career pursuits.
Govinda Questions the Timing and Motives
Govinda expressed deep frustration over these allegations. He pointedly asked how many times he has been married. "Have I gotten married two or three times?" he questioned reporters. "It has been forty years. Those who marry multiple times face no such comments from their wives."
The veteran actor suggested that people in the film industry typically avoid discussing personal matters publicly. "I have rarely seen anybody spotless in this industry," he remarked. Govinda believes he is being cornered by these statements and is now figuring out how to escape this situation.
Claims of Nephew Krushna Abhishek Being Used
Govinda made a startling claim about his nephew, comedian Krushna Abhishek. He alleged that Krushna is being manipulated as part of a larger plot against him. "Even if you see Krushna Abhishek's TV programmes, you will notice how writers make him say things that insult me," Govinda stated.
He revealed that he directly warned Krushna about this exploitation. "I told him he is being used to insult me and advised him to be cautious." According to Govinda, Sunita would become upset whenever he cautioned Krushna. He described the family dynamics as confusing, noting he never knows when people are upset or on good terms with each other.
Explains Stance on Helping His Children
Addressing the accusation about not assisting his son Yashvardhan, Govinda provided his perspective. He stated he operates within his means and capabilities. "I am doing work according to my aukat," he explained.
The actor emphasized that he avoids discussing his children with film producers and directors. "The industry is my family. I have earned money and fame from it, and I do not want to put a black spot on it." However, he urged vigilance, suggesting these conversations are not random but part of a deliberate conspiracy to tarnish his image.
Pleads with Family to Stop Public Statements
Govinda made an emotional appeal to his family members. He requested them to refrain from making public statements that he finds oppressive. "I want to request not to create circumstances in my life that suffocate me. I especially request this from my own family," he said.
Reflects on His Career and Current Situation
The actor reflected on his long career, noting that eyebrows were raised when he, an outsider, announced three films early on. He connected his current troubles to his recent political affiliation with Shiv Sena, where he serves as a pracharak.
"I have stayed in the house without work for nineteen or twenty years. That is a long time," Govinda shared. He expressed feeling wronged after dedicating his life to working for others. He concluded with a firm warning, "Do not think of me as a weak person. People should look at their own karma before speaking."
