Initial reports from ANI indicated that four rounds of bullets were fired. However, the latest police update suggests that at least five rounds were discharged during the attack. One of the bullets reportedly struck the glass of a gym situated within the building where Shetty resides, highlighting the severity of the situation.
The four suspects were apprehended from the Karvenagar and Dhayari areas in Pune following the Mumbai firing incident. This operation was carried out by personnel from the Warje Malwadi police station, as confirmed by an official statement.

The Mumbai police have registered a formal case on charges of attempt to murder under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, along with provisions of the Arms Act. Further investigation into the matter is actively ongoing, with officials emphasizing that no stone is being left unturned.

A forensic science and ballistics expert team visited the building twice to collect crucial evidence and conduct thorough examinations.
