Choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan, a known follower of the controversial reality show Bigg Boss, has once again publicly voiced her support for the winner of season 19, Gaurav Khanna. This time, she did so in front of his main rival from the house, Farrhana Bhatt.
A Cooking Vlog Sparks Candid Bigg Boss Talk
Farah Khan recently shot a special cooking video for her vlog with Farrhana Bhatt and her mother at her residence. The conversation naturally drifted towards the recently concluded Bigg Boss season. The discussion ignited when Farah asked Farrhana if she had attended Gaurav Khanna's victory celebration.
Farrhana replied that she could not make it due to an allergy. To this, Farah Khan humorously remarked, "Abhi GK se allergy hai isko" (Now she has an allergy to GK). This set the tone for a frank exchange about the winner's character.
Farah Dismisses 'Fake' Claims, Praises Gaurav's Authenticity
As the chat progressed, Farah Khan addressed a common criticism leveled against Gaurav Khanna during the show. She stated that many believed he was putting on an act, but she firmly disagrees.
"Everyone said he’s faking and all, but I think he is like that only. Woh fake nahi kar raha tha," Farah asserted in the vlog. She added that his behavior was consistent even during his time on MasterChef, where his mannerisms reportedly irritated people around him, suggesting it was his genuine personality.
Gaurav's Earlier Response to the Controversy
This vlog conversation follows earlier comments made by Gaurav Khanna himself. In an interview, he responded to Farrhana Bhatt's remarks mocking his win. Gaurav advised that contestants should focus on the achievement of reaching the finale.
He said, "The contestants who are making such comments should focus on being happy about the fact that they reached the finale. That’s something to value and be proud of." He added that if he had lost, he would not claim the show revolved around him, stating "once you lose your own show, there’s really nothing more to add."
To recap, Gaurav Khanna was announced the winner of Bigg Boss 19 on December 7, with Farrhana Bhatt being declared the first runner-up. Farah Khan had predicted his victory even before the grand finale, and her latest vlog confirms her continued support for the champion amidst the post-show chatter.
