Divi Vadthya Voices Disappointment Over Her Role in 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'
In a candid revelation, actress Divi Vadthya has openly expressed her dissatisfaction with her role in the blockbuster film 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', starring Allu Arjun and directed by Sukumar. The actress, who gained fame from Bigg Boss Telugu 4, recently shared that she was 'not at all' happy with how her character turned out in the final cut of the movie.
Initial Promises vs. Final Outcome
During an interview with the Visual Talks Podcast, Divi Vadthya disclosed that when the role was first pitched to her, she was led to believe it would be a big and important part. She mentioned having high expectations, especially after the release of the teaser titled 'Where is Pushpa?', which fueled her anticipation for a substantial screen presence.
However, her excitement turned to disappointment upon watching the full film. 'But when the film was released, I realised that's not happening,' she stated, highlighting the stark contrast between what was promised and what she ultimately saw on screen.
Emotional Reaction and Professional Resilience
Reflecting on her feelings, Divi Vadthya admitted, 'Yeah, I felt bad. But who will care about my pain? You just have to pat yourself on the back and move on.' She recounted going to the theatre with ten friends, expecting a stellar performance from herself, only to be left shocked by the final portrayal.
Despite dedicating significant effort to the role—dubbing for 10 days and shooting for 20 days—she felt her performance was not adequately represented. 'I know I acted really well. But I was shocked after watching the film,' she added, emphasizing her professional commitment and subsequent letdown.
Role Details and Career Background
