Court Dismisses Fraud Case Against Nivin Pauly, Producer Charged

Nivin Pauly has received significant legal relief from a Kerala court. The Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-I at Vaikom issued an order directing the filing of a criminal complaint against producer PS Shamnas. The court determined that Shamnas provided false information to the court.

Court Finds Producer Misled Proceedings

Judge Archana K Babu stated that Shamnas concealed facts and made incorrect claims under oath. The court concluded that these actions were taken solely to register a cheating case against Nivin Pauly and director Abrid Shine.

Fraudulent Intent Established

According to reports from the Bar and Bench website, the court explicitly stated that Shamnas misled the judicial process. The judge found that he intentionally gave false evidence. Judge Babu remarked, "The giving of false evidence amounts to practicing of fraud upon the court ... it was manifest that the respondent (Shamnas) had intentionally made a false statement or declaration when he was under a legal obligation to speak the truth in a judicial proceedings."

The court further observed that, upon initial examination, Shamnas committed fraud specifically to get an FIR registered against Nivin Pauly. This order, dated January 12, provides substantial legal relief to the popular actor.
