Avneet recounted how her parents made the life-altering decision to abandon their established life in Punjab to support her acting ambitions. "That's a huge risk, I can say," she reflected. "Because we had a life back then, everything was there. My nana-nani, dada-dadi, everybody. We were all living together in a really big family, and everything was sorted, laid out for me, this whole plan, my brother and everything."
She described herself as the disruptive force in this settled scenario: "And then comes Avneet in the middle of it. She chooses to have a dream, she chooses to dare to dream. And then they're like, 'We're in it. If you want it, we'll give it our best,' so that I don't have to regret later that I didn't give it a genuine try."

The actress elaborated on the tangible sacrifices her family endured. "They have done so much for me. My dad shifted his whole business and everything. My mom and I, we've been living in rented apartments for such a long time, small spaces, all of us together," she shared. "We have a big house in Punjab, a good home there, and for them to live like that for me, so that I can get a chance at this and somehow become an actress, it means everything."
Avneet became emotional while discussing the unseen struggles her parents faced. "There are so many things, and I don't even know how many people's stories they have heard for me. The stories my mom tells me—that there were times they didn't even tell me when their hearts were breaking," she revealed. "And for you, that's a very heartbreaking moment, because we grow up thinking they have all the answers. And when they break, I don't think there's anything more heartbreaking than that."

She reflected on her diverse filmography: "I have done a film that was a drama and also a really intense film that people were sharing. Then I did a film that was a little, you know, a family comedy. After that, I got into a film that was a bit emotional, where the character was loving."
Now, the actress is setting her sights on a new genre. "And now, honestly, I'm looking at, like, I want to I would want to, I'm putting it out there I really want to do an action film. Because I feel like we don't see many action films," she declared. "Something like how Rani Ma'am does in Mardaani."
