The director of the newly released psychological thriller 'Anomie', Riyas Marath, has provided a detailed explanation regarding audience and reviewer feedback about the film's deliberate pacing in its first half. Speaking at a press conference following the movie's theatrical debut, Marath addressed concerns while celebrating the positive reception the film has begun to receive.

According to initial estimates from industry tracking sources, 'Anomie' has collected approximately Rs 41 lakhs net in India over its first two days of release, with gross earnings reaching around Rs 48 lakhs. The Malayalam version specifically has earned Rs 36 lakhs net during this same period.
Notably, the film maintained consistent performance with Rs 18 lakhs net on both day one and day two, demonstrating stable audience interest without the typical second-day drop that often affects new releases.
