Ananya Panday Eyes Rs 200 Cr Box Office for Kartik Aaryan Reunion Film
Ananya Panday hopes film with Kartik Aaryan crosses Rs 200 cr

Bollywood stars Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan are set to share screen space once again in the upcoming romantic comedy 'Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri'. The actress has now voiced high hopes for the film's commercial success, setting a massive box office target ahead of its theatrical release this month.

Ananya Panday's Blockbuster Ambition

Speaking at the recent IFP Season 15 event, Ananya Panday openly shared her desire for the film to achieve a significant commercial milestone. "I want to have a film in the theater that makes 200 crores, so hopefully with 'Tu Mera'," the actress stated, referring to the movie by its shortened nickname. This public expression of confidence highlights the team's expectations for the project to become a major crowd-puller during the holiday season.

All About 'Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri'

The film, directed by Sameer Vidwans, promises a blend of comedy, romance, glamour, and emotional tragedy. The narrative centers on Kartik Aaryan's character, Ray, described as a devoted mama's boy, and Ananya Panday's character, Rumi. As established in the trailer, Rumi's central wish is to experience a classic, heartfelt love story reminiscent of the 1990s in today's modern world.

The movie is scheduled for a worldwide cinematic release on December 25, 2025. This festive date sets the stage for a major box office clash. The film will compete directly with two other high-profile releases: 'Ikkis', the debut film of Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda, and Aditya Dhar's action spectacle 'Dhurandhar'.

What's Next for the Lead Stars?

Beyond this reunion project, both actors have packed pipelines. Ananya Panday is also working on 'Chand Mera Dil', a film co-starring Lakshya, which is currently slated for release in 2026.

On the other hand, Kartik Aaryan is preparing for 'Nagzilla', a project he announced earlier this year. In this film, directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, Aaryan will portray an 'ichchadhari naag' (a shape-shifting serpent). This venture is also planned for a release next year.

The coming weeks are crucial for 'Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri' as it gears up for its Christmas release. All eyes will be on whether this romantic comedy can translate the lead actress's hopes into reality and emerge as the season's box office champion.
