In a delightful twist, Priyadarshan has confirmed that Mohanlal, the star of the original 'Oppam', will have a special appearance in the remake.

'Haiwaan' represents the first collaboration between Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar since the 2010 film 'Khatta Meetha'. However, this is not the only project the duo has in the pipeline. They are also set to work together on the comedy horror film 'Bhoot Bangla'. The cast for 'Bhoot Bangla' is equally impressive, featuring names like Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Sharman Joshi.
