Tollywood veteran Nagarjuna Akkineni took to his official X handle to announce the new release date of July 10, 2026.

Actor and producer Nagarjuna Akkineni shared on X that the makers requested additional time to “create something special.” He wrote, “Team Lenin came to me with a request. They asked for a little more time to give their absolute 100% and create something very special. Their passion and spirit made me say yes. Our guy is arriving on July 10. I say it again, you will see a new Akhil!! Get ready for the Lenin experience.”
Post-Production Underway
The makers are currently busy with the final stages of post-production, including visual effects and editing. The team reportedly wanted extra time to complete the work without rushing, leading to the delay of a few weeks. The goal is to deliver the film in the best possible way.

'Lenin' revolves around family conflicts, power struggles, and emotional relationships. Actress Sreeleela was initially part of the project and appeared in an early glimpse, but she exited due to scheduling issues. Bhagyashri Borse later joined the cast. The film was first planned for a May 1, 2026 release, then moved to June 26, and now finally set for July 10, 2026. Akhil Akkineni was last seen in 'Agent', which did not perform well at the box office.
