IIT-BHU Professor M A Quraishi Receives Lifetime Achievement Award from Nagaland University

In a prestigious ceremony held in Varanasi, Professor M A Quraishi, a distinguished Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) and former head and professor of the chemistry department at the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), was honored with a lifetime achievement award by Nagaland University. This award recognizes his exceptional and sustained contributions to the field of corrosion science, with a particular focus on the development of environmentally benign green corrosion inhibitors.

Award Presentation at International Conference

The award was presented by Professor G D Yadav, a Padma Shri awardee and former Vice-Chancellor of the Institute of Chemical Technology, during the inaugural session of the international conference on chemistry in multidisciplinary research. This significant event took place from February 18 to 20, bringing together experts from various fields to discuss advancements in chemical research.

Professor Quraishi has been consistently ranked among the top 2% of scientists worldwide by Stanford University in the United States since 2019, underscoring his global impact and scholarly excellence.
